- Supported large-scale exhibitions at Singapore Expo, including CARS@EXPO and Mummy’s Market.
- Designed 10+ corporate floor plans using Microsoft Visio for booths and event layout planning.
- Assisted in client meetings and the execution of advertising & promotions campaigns.
- Contributed to operational planning and on-site logistics for high-footfall events.
- Supported virtual event operations and attended IoT Asia 2022, facilitating the pre-recording of seminars.
My Journey
I did this internship right in the middle of COVID-19, and it ended up teaching me a lot more than I expected. I started by helping with virtual events and got to attend IoT Asia 2022, where I helped pre-record seminars. I also learned how to draw corporate floorplans and worked on A&P tasks for Singapore Expo, which meant coordinating with external vendors and seeing how events really come together. I was also involved in supporting corporate events, roadshows, and major events like Cars@Expo and Mummy’s Market. Overall, it was a hands-on experience that exposed me to many sides of events and operations.
